First Mindful Monday!

Greetings and welcome to the FIRST Mindful Monday! Expect to see a post every Monday with thoughts and information on the emotional side of your wellness journey.

In this first post I wanted to take the time to thank you for giving thought to YOUR wellness. Ash Wednesday is this Wednesday and hopefully you are ready to commit to 40 Days of Fitness! Lent is spent asking ourselves what needs to change in our life and then to leave a stronger and more vital person of faith than when we started. 40 Days of Fitness is a journey of self-discovery with a plethora of information to help you understand the human body, how it works, and how you can apply it to you.

For me, this year’s Lenten season will be a time of growth. In the past I have given up things and also, some years, have started something that would benefit my health, be it mentally/emotionally, physically, nutritiously, or spiritually. We all approach this season differently and for me I find that if I am wishing to change some aspect of my life for the better I will be more committed during Lent.  

I will be sharing more with each post and encourage you to share your thoughts as well.
